LaMarr Woodley, already an NFL star, has a money problem. And some of his teammates think it’s a laughing matter.  Woodley is clearly one of the best defensive players in the league. Yet, he’s due to be paid less than 34 players on the Steelers’ roster.

Updating a previous item, the Saginaw News reports the Steelers are expected to sign OLB LaMarr Woodley to a long-term contract once a new collective bargaining agreement is in place.

Woodley, whom the Steelers selected out of Michigan in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft, is a workhorse in the training room and on the field. But he's also generous with his time and enjoys returning to his hometown of Saginaw for community-service projects.
